Iwan van der Vinne

Iwan is a Partner with CrossCountry Consulting. CrossCountry provides integrated solutions for the office of the CFO, private equity sponsors, and other corporate leaders. Iwan is based in Dallas, part of the firm’s Accounting Advisory focusing on transactions. Iwan has more than 20 years of experience across a wide range of industry sectors through mergers and acquisitions, including complicated carve-out divestitures and supporting the sell-side process for both corporate clients and private equity portfolio companies. Prior to CrossCountry, Iwan was with Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers in the audit and transaction practices in New York and the Netherlands.

Iwan is a Certified Public Accountant registered in Texas. He holds a Certified Internal Auditor degree from the University of Amsterdam, Faculty of Economics. Prior to his move to Texas, Iwan was as well a Certified Chartered Accountant in The Netherlands (“RA”). Iwan holds his Masters in Business Economics: University of Groningen, Faculty of Management & Organization.

Iwan has been the chair of the NAF’s Audit Committee for the past 13 years and is a member of the U.S. Soccer Development Council. Iwan was a soccer player in the Dutch highest amateur soccer league for Be Quick 1887 and HZVV. While in New York for 15 years, he coordinated the Central Park soccer team and organized a variety of soccer-related events within the NYC Dutch soccer community. For his community contributions Iwan was awarded a royal decoration in 2016 and he is a proud member of the Order of Oranje-Nassau. Iwan resides in Dallas with his wife Christiane Yu and their kids Camila and Lucas. Iwan currently coordinates the ‘University Park & friends’ soccer team in Dallas.
