C. Jurjan Wouda Kuipers

Until his retirement in July 2020, Mr. Wouda Kuipers was an international tax partner with EY in New York where he was in charge of the Financial Services Offices’ International Tax Desks. He received a Master of Corporate Law and a Master of Civil Law from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, as well as a Master of Tax Law from the University of Amsterdam.

Mr. Wouda Kuipers served on the NAF’s Board from 2003 through 2007 and from 2010 onwards. In 2003, he was the NAF’s first Chair of the Audit Committee, and subsequently was the NAF’s Treasurer from 2004-2007 and again from 2010-2017 during which period he was also a member of the NAF’s Executive Committee. Mr. Wouda Kuipers has served on the NAF’s Investment Committee since 2010, was the Chair of the Friends Fund Committee from its inception in 2013 through 2024, and served on the Nominating Committee. Mr. Wouda Kuipers was the Chair of the New York NAF Ball Organizing Committee in 2022 and 2023. Since 2024, Mr. Wouda Kuipers is the chairman of the NAF’s Board. Mr. Wouda Kuipers is an independent director of the publicly quoted Lanvin Group and chair of its audit committee.
