Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library Tour
NAF Members are cordially invited to join a special private tour of the Franklin D. Roosevelt Library and Museum in Hyde Park, NY, guided by the Library’s director William A. Harris.
The Library was opened in 1941 on the grounds of Springwood, the Roosevelt family estate on a beautiful location overseeing the Hudson Valley. The buildings were designed and built under President Roosevelt’s own direction and is the first (of thirteen) presidential libraries managed by the National Archives and Records Administration. The Library and Museum hold President Roosevelt’s personal papers, memorabilia and documents from the period of his public service as New York state senator, assistant secretary of the Navy, governor of New York and his four terms as president of the United States.
The tour is offered free of charge. The maximum number of people that can join this unique visit is 20. NAF Members (contribution for 2026 paid) will have priority.
