AMERICAN FRIENDS OF THE ROYAL CONCERTGEBOUW ORCHESTRA

GLOBAL FRIENDS US OF THE ROYAL CONCERTGEBOUW ORCHESTRA

MAKE THE 2029 TOUR TO THE UNITED STATES HAPPEN!

The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, founded in 1888 in Amsterdam, is one of the leading international art institutions. Comprised of 125 of the most extraordinarily talented musicians from over 25 different nations, the orchestra has performed with the greatest conductors and soloists of all time.

Globally, the orchestra ranks among those few top-performing cultural institutions that set an example in both performance and programming. Her Majesty Queen Máxima of the Netherlands is the orchestra’s patron and its ambassador in the international community.

Since 1954 the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra has regularly played in America, and the musicians and conductors have always felt the gratitude and enthusiasm of American audiences. By visiting the US, the orchestra wants to amplify that valuable American – Dutch connection. This gives the American audience the opportunity to listen to and experience Dutch heritage, specifically the unique Concertgebouw Orchestra sound. We promise electrify live moments at each concert of our US Tour.

The tour in 2029 tour can only be realized with the generous support of people like you, our friends, and our fans. There are many ways in which you can support us and make the next tour happen!

We would be thrilled to welcoming you as our Global Friend and to invite you to our journey towards the USA Tour 2029.  Please see below the options. As always happy to discuss this, please don’t hesitate to contact us in case you have any questions.
