Andy Bender

Andy Bender was the former chair of the NAF and is currently a board member for several companies that he has invested in. He founded Polaris Solutions in 2001, a technology company that provided global technology solutions for life-sciences companies. Andy also actively participated and invested in GATT-tech a Dutch hemostat device company which he funded and sold to Johnson and Johnson. Before founding Polaris, Andy was the CFO at Underline, Senior Director of Operations at Merck- Medco, Senior Manager at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Fellow Consultant at McKinsey & Co.
Andy holds a BA in Business from Nyenrode University in the Netherlands, an MS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Andy lives in Bronxville, NY, is married to Priscilla and has three sons.
