The University of Twente can also be proud of its unique profile: it is the first and most entrepreneurial university in the Netherlands and is the only genuine campus university in the country.
The Twente University Fund helps the UT and its academic community of students, alumni and employees flourish and thrive thanks to contributions from donors. This involves catalyzing new developments as well as funding facilities and resources not provided by the government or the business community. The fund closely coordinates and collaborates with the University of Twente’s Executive Board. The fund was established in 1948 and played a crucial role in the founding and development of the university.
