Pieter is a Managing Director, head of Strategy and Business Management, and a member of the Operating Committee for Wells Fargo Commercial Banking. Commercial Banking provides services to companies with annual sales generally between $25 million and $2B in sales. In his role, Pieter leads the teams responsible for setting business strategies, executing initiatives, and driving day-to-day business activities that support client and employee experiences.
Pieter joined Wells Fargo in 2024 from the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he served as a Managing Director and Partner in the firm’s Financial Institutions practice, based in New York. He joined BCG as an Associate in the firm’s Amsterdam office in 2001 and transferred to the New York office after obtaining his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. He holds a Law degree from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands.
