The NAF has been a volunteer-driven organization since its founding, depending on the expertise and time of its volunteer committee members. The NAF cannot succeed — or keep its administrative expenses low — without these volunteers.

Volunteers are typically engaged to serve on one of the NAF’s many committees for periods of a least one year. Committee chairs make the final selection of members to serve on their committees, with the exception of the Audit, Executive, Nominating and Investment committees, which require Board approval.
