Individual Membership

Membership in the NAF plays a key role in helping the organization fulfill its ongoing mission of supporting educational and cultural exchange between the United States and the Netherlands. We would appreciate your membership contribution of $100 or more. Student memberships are also available.

Memberships are for 12 months based on the calendar year, and are tax-deductible in the U.S. and the Netherlands.

TAX-DEDUCTIBILITY

FOR U.S. TAXES

The Netherland-America Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit organization. All contributions are tax-deductible for the purpose of U. S. federal and state taxes, to the extent permitted by federal and state law.

FOR DUTCH TAXES

As the Foundation is also recognized by the Dutch tax authorities as algemeen nut beogende instelling (ANBI), contributions to the Netherland-America Foundation made by Dutch-resident individual may be eligible for a deduction against the individual’s Dutch personal income tax, at the maximum Box 1 rate of 52%.

Charity Navigator, America’s premier charity evaluator, gave the NAF a 4-star rating-their highest-for “its ability to efficiently manage and grow its finances, demonstrating to the public it is worthy of their trust.
