and the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) invite you to

The End of the Wave?
Dutch Elections and a Brake on Populist Progress

The Brexit vote and Trump’s election marked 2016 as the year of populism. But are the people of Holland poised to end populism’s reign? The March 15 general elections in the Netherlands will be the first real test of the durability of anti-establishment politics in the West. Geert Wilders of the anti-Islam Freedom Party has had a strong showing in early polls, although he will struggle to put a governing coalition together.

Join AEI and the Netherland-America Foundation for a discussion of Dutch politics in the context of political changes on both sides of the Atlantic.

Join the conversation on social media with @AEI on Twitter and Facebook.
