In fact, in her opinion companies need to be obsessed with customer success! She will speak on the differences in definition of this success in the US and European countries, and how companies with a European HQ may need to adapt when positioning themselves for success in the US market, in particular on LinkedIn. To illustrate she will discuss case studies of transatlantic businesses.

About the Speaker
Carine Roman is Global Head of Customer Success at LinkedIn. She has a breadth of experience in Internet, technology and operations at scale. Her career began in advertising in Paris, France, where she ran sales and operations for a division of Publicis (French multinational advertising and public relations company). In 2006, Ms. Roman joined Ziff Davis Media, handling Business Management and Advertising Operations. She remained with Ziff Davis Enterprise when the company was sold and served as the Senior Vice President of Digital Media managing all digital/business operations and product development. In 2011, she joined 33Across (technology company focused on solving the challenge of consumer attention for an era of automated advertising) and managed their analytics, media and sales operations for 2 years before joining LinkedIn in 2013. She holds an MSc in Management from Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Toulouse (France) and an MBA in Media Management and Finance from Columbia Business School.
