On Monday, June 27, 2016, the NAF DC Committee got to meet the Fellows they selected earlier this year for the DC Summer Internship Program 2016. They met for lunch at restaurant NoPa, in downtown DC, and were joined by the First Secretary of the Economic Section at the Embassy of the Netherlands in DC, the Admissions Manager at The Fund for American Studies (the organisation that administers the program) and two alumni. The Fellows participate in summer classes at George Mason University and do internships at a range of different companies. The internship program is funded by proceeds from the NAF Ambassador’s Award Dinner, held annually in April in Washington, DC.
